"I'm not meant to be here either... At least we have that in common." |
"The principal and founder of Hollow Fields. Weaver has created Hollow Fields as a school where gifted children can learn forbidden science and become the next generation of evil geniuses. Tall and imposing, she is extremely domineering towards students and the other staff."
- Hollow Fields School Files, Vol. 1[1]
Miss Weaver, full name Eleanor Weaver, is the principal of Hollow Fields and teaches Construction of Killer Robots. She is one of the Engineers. She is "a brilliant scientist with a complete lack of ethics."[2] She also smokes cigarettes.[2]
She owns the school and surrounding estate, which is well over two hundred years old. She built most of the school herself and so knows every corner, while not even the other members of staff fully know the layout.[3]
She specializes in Clockwork Robotics.[4]
Appearance[]
Miss Weaver has long, slightly curly, black hair that floats upwards and slightly towards the right. She wears a full-length black dress that curls off the floor in tatters that imitate smoke. Like all of the Engineers, her eyes are blank circles that can move to indicate expressions, and she has two stitches coming down the center of her forehead.
Personality[]
She is very cruel towards the students and her demeanor is very cold. She was originally drawn to be more expressive, but this was changed to stay true to her ice-cold nature.[1] She keeps her composure at all times and very rarely ever appears to be out of her depth, threatened, or concerned.[1]
History[]
She used to be human and was married to Dr. Bleak. She was dying of an incurable illness and so (with the help of Miss Ricketts) built herself a stitched together steam-powered robotic body to escape death. She then gave her staff the same. Their bodies were created around eighty years ago, and she is now around one hundred and twenty years old.[2]
She founded Hollow Fields and created Stinch to be the "perfect watchdog" for it, though he is not as polished as he could be, since she molded him as a living servant from scrap which is outside of her usual expertise.[4]
